Introducing Mayo Clinic Innovation Exchange
June 10, 2020 – By Jared Mueller, Director and Charles Bruce, M.B., Ch.B., Medical Director – Mayo Clinic Innovation Exchange
This summer, Mayo Clinic is proudly launching the Mayo Clinic Innovation Exchange. The Exchange is a membership platform tailor-made for the challenges facing entrepreneurs and the health care sector in this volatile era. Exchange membership offers access to medical insights, top-flight professional service firms offering free-to-member services covered by Mayo, and – for businesses in or open to relocating to Florida – the opportunity to take advantage of a 20,000-square-foot co-work space as well as rental wet lab space at Mayo Clinic’s Jacksonville campus.
Mayo Clinic has placed the finishing touches on the Exchange’s offerings in the context of this year’s global pandemic. COVID-19 has shaken societies, health care institutions, and global markets to their cores. While Mayo Clinic is eager to welcome Exchange members to our extraordinary co-work space in Florida, we are designing our offering to be as valuable to entrepreneurs anywhere in the world – in California, New England, or Singapore – as they are to those in our sunny corner of the Southeast United States. Virtual office hours with leading law firms and marketing and strategy consultants, and targeted introductions to experts across Mayo Clinic’s three campuses, are key cornerstones of an Exchange membership. Our carefully cultivated network of health care advisors and investors represent additional assets for qualified members.
Health care innovators are vital to leading the global economic and public health recovery. Mayo Clinic and the Exchange will do what it can to bring external solutions and Mayo’s own innovations to patients as quickly as possible. Visit our Membership page to submit your application and learn more about what the Exchange can do to support your essential work.
